This pattern is one of the most well-known top-water patterns of all time. One that truly changed the fly fishing industry forever. Now available exclusively from Rainy’s Flies®! It was created by West Coast fly designer Charlie Bisharat. This pattern is so unique with is its built-in action when retrieved on the surface. It was originally designed for the Sacramento Delta Striper fishery but has now become a world famous and used top water popper. When you strip the fly in, the specially designed foam head makes the fly dart from side to side. It truly “walks the dog”! It can also be stripped in slowly creating a small pop and “V” wake. This new version by Rainy’s Flies® still has many of the same features like the rattle and tail, but has been simplified to minimize bulk and weight in the head with their revolutionary foam shaping methods so it is easier to cast as well as minimize cost so it won’t break the bank anymore. Size #2 = 4" long; #1/0 = 5" long; #3/0 = 6" long. Available in many classic and specific baitfish colors.
