Fishing can be tough. Buying gear shouldn't be.
At the Compleat Angler we stand behind what we sell with one of the industry's best guarantees. If you aren't satisfied with your purchase just let us know - we'll do everything we can to make it right.
If you want an exchange, please email team@compleatangleronline.com and we'll make sure we have the product you'd like to exchange it for. Customers are responsible for return shipping (if we sent the wrong item or it arrived damaged, we'll cover the costs).

Please include the packing slip that was included with the order and once we get the product(s) back, your refund will be processed.
Fly Rods: 7 days
With our Compleat Guarantee, all fly rods** come with a 7-day casting guarantee. Take it out, throw some loops, and see what you think. A fly rod is the biggest investment most anglers make, and there is just no substitute for casting it firsthand. If you're not happy with it, send it back for a full refund. Our only stipulation is that it comes back to us in resellable condition (clean, and undamaged).
**Please note that bamboo fly rods are not included in our 7-day rod guarantee.
All Other Gear: 30 Days
All tackle** purchased from us (outside of fly rods) comes with a full 30 day money-back guarantee. Items must be clean and undamaged, and can be shipped back to us at our address.
** Please note that customized items, such as engraved items, are not returnable, nor are items that have been explicitly listed as "final sale" items.
We do not accept returns for Final Sale or Discounted items.
