The “Bluewater” series of baitfish flies are all designed to catch anything that swims in the salt, but also great for large warmwater predators like Bass, Pike, Muskie, Peacock Bass, Etc. This is a MUST-HAVE pattern for Sailfish and Marlin!!! This is truly a “BULLET-PROOF” fly pattern and is overdressed to really give the fly a 3-dimensional look and profile in the water. Whether the fly is being stocked from below or the side it will look like a nice meal to eat. It is constructed with a great combination of both animal (bucktail and peacock) and synthetic (synthetic fiber and flash) materials giving it the best combination for optimal movement and durability. The head is also built up and epoxied for optimal realism and durability. All tied on a Gamakatsu Circle Hook. Sizes 6/0 and 8/0 also have an 80# vinyl coated wire tied into the head to secure a tandem stinger hook into the tail if you desire.

NOTE: All flies are tied on one single hook. You can buy stinger hooks for the larger versions separately or match up with your own. Also try putting a Rainy’s® Turbo Poppin Head on your line in front of this fly to turn it into an effective trolling/attractor surface fly.
