Rainy’s® Tube Popper is designed to be used while off-shore chasing Sailfish, Marlin, and the like. It has a durable dense foam head then two-tone painted and epoxied for optimal attraction and durability. The tail portion is comprised of a great combination of synthetic (flash) and animal (feathers) for good movement in the water as it swims. You can troll these flies as teasers and/or use the “bait-and-switch” method by casting the fly out to rising/teased fish. This is the basic staple popper for OFF-SHORE, Bluewater fishing!
Measures 6.5” long.
NOTE: The fly is sold without any hooks, but can be matched with Rainy’s® signature tandem hooks in either 4/0 or 6/0 depending on the species you are chasing with it.
