The Brassie Hair Packers are an innovative tool that make spun deer hair bodies quick and easy. This hair packer is available in three sizes suitable for a wide range of fly sizes. The Brassie Hair Packer is easy to use, simply squeeze the tool just firm enough to close the grooves around the shank of the hook. Then push the previously tied bundle of hair towards the rear of the hook. This will compress the bundle of hair tied to the hook shank. Repeat as needed, the tightly packed hair can then be trimmed to the desired shape. The Brassie Hair Packers are made from tempered brass, and measure 1-3/4 inches in length.
