The Cuda fly, designed by fly fishing legend Lefty Kreh, is a variation of his popular Deceiver baitfish fly, but changed to more specifically attract larger predators like small Shark, Barracuda, Pike, Peacock Bass, and the like. The fly is long and has a lot of flash in it to attract these toothy critters. It is widely used as a general baitfish/attractor pattern and has caught over 50 species of gamefish all over the world. The Red/Orange color more closely matches a chunk of meat if there is chum present.
It is tied on a stout stainless-steel hook.
