This is the Big Daddy Peacock Bass fly! Large enough to attract the big ones, but not too big to cast all day long. The Peacock Pounder is the brainchild of Peacock Bass enthusiast and avid angler John Holpuch. He created and dialed them in from over 20 years of annual trips to the Amazon. These are time-tested and designed to hold up to these aggressive toothy creatures to say the least. This fly is a great combination of flash and synthetic fiber with epoxy coated head for durability and lateral lines for a more natural baitfish profile. This fly is literally tied to imitate a baby peacock bass that readily get eaten by their not-so-nice relatives as they swim around unprotected. All tied on a stout Gamakatsu stainless hook. These are the ones you will not want tot go without the next time you are chasing peacock bass in the jungle or similar toothy predators anywhere. Yes, this would be great for big bass, pike, muskie, etc. as well.
