We are beyond thrilled to officially announce Matt's next hosted trip to

Dates: March 21 - 27, 2027
Available spots: 5 anglers
Private ground transfer from SJUincluded - only 45 minutes!

A fishing trip with Matt is more than the sum of its parts. The 5-angler : 1-Matt ratio means exceptional hosted service. Matt will take care of the details and ensure everyone gets the most out of their five days of fishing. In addition to his fishing expertise and unmatched sense of humor, Matt is also a professional photographer and will gladly shoot and share photographs. Check out some of Matt's fishing photographs here.
Matt's plan is to spend one full fishing day with each angler so that each benefits from both his photographic skill and his undivided attention on the water.

Most folks head to Salinas in pursuit of tarpon, but anglers can also expect to find permit, snook, and bonefish. Matt highlights that many of the tarpon in these waters are younger and will take less work to land, so you will have the time and energy to catch more than you might elsewhere. Anglers interested in snook can explore the mangroves, and those who might want to land a bonefish can plan to do some sight fishing right off the beach.
No Name is located within walking distance from downtown Salinas, which means easy access to Puerto Rican culture and food. And as anyone who has been to Puerto Rico can tell you, the trip is worth it for the street food alone.

The ease of travel truly sets this trip apart. There are direct flights out of New York City and most major American cities, and since the travel is domestic, no visas or passports are needed for American anglers. Upon arrival in San Juan, all it takes to get to the lodge is a short, private transfer - no connecting flights and no need to board any puddle jumpers. This means five full days of fishing.
